Almost every rechargeable table lamp has to go on a cable or a charging plate. Clarté works with a battery unit you take out of the lamp and replace. That is the difference between light that lasts the evening and light that dies halfway through service.

The remote
With separate lamps, someone walks past every table to switch on, dim and switch off. With Clarté the whole room is right at one press of a button, without anyone touching a lamp.
Most rechargeable lamps only have a button on the lamp itself. There, dimming means a lap of the room.

Up to 42 hours on the ambience setting, 26 to 28 hours dimmed and 13 to 14 hours at full power. In practice the lamps run dimmed, so one charge covers several evenings of service.
Every lamp runs on its own swappable battery, and every set includes a charging dock. Batteries swap in seconds, so a spare takes over mid service without the lamp leaving the table.
Yes. The lamps are IP54 rated, so they belong on the terrace just as much as in the dining room.
Every lamp has three brightness settings. Full power for setting up the room and for lighter spaces, a half setting during service, and the ambience setting for when the evening falls. That setting also decides how long a battery lasts: 13 to 14 hours at full power, 26 to 28 hours on the half setting, and up to 42 hours on the ambience setting.
Alongside brightness you choose the shade of white, from deep warm candlelight for the evening to a brighter white for lunch, terrace and daylight. All models have exactly the same settings, so once the room is set there is no colour difference between tables. Setting can be done per lamp or for the whole room at once with the remote.
